This is the second time that a governor’s chief of staff has been reassigned to the post of commissioner.
According to the assistant governor, the new portfolios of commissioners being reassigned are Jaafaru Sani as environment commissioner; Thomas Gyang, Commissioner for Public Works and Infrastructure, Halima Lawal, Commissioner for Education, Ibrahim Hassaini for Agriculture.
Others are Shehu Usman Muhammad as local government commissioner, Kabir Mato as business, innovation and technology commissioner as well as Idris Nyam as sports development commissioner.

They include: Balaraba Aliyu-Inuwa as Administrator, Zaria Metropolitan Authority, Muhammad Hafiz Bayero as Administrator, Kaduna Capital Territory while Phoebe Yayi is Administrator, Kafanchan Municipal Authority.
