Online registration – for TN Polytechnic Lateral Entry Regular courses as well as for part-time diploma courses, started on Friday 25 June.

Admission to Tamil Nadu Polytechnic 2021: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has started receiving applications online through its official websites tngptc.in and tngptc.com for admission to various degree courses.

Online registration – for TN Polytechnic Lateral Entry Regular courses as well as for part-time diploma courses, started on Friday June 25 and will continue until July 12, 2021.

Steps to Apply for DoTE Degree Admission


1. Click here to access the official website: tngptc.in.
2. Select the “regular” or “part-time” diploma according to your needs.
3. Click New Record.
4. Enter the email address, contact number, password and click Send OTP.
5. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and your e-mail address.
6. Follow the instructions and complete the registration form.

Applicants should keep all relevant documents such as community / caste / special reservation certificates, sport certificate, Aadhar card, Class 10 / SSLC entry details and score sheet etc. before proceeding with registration.

Students can also access through Tamil Nadu Poly official website the list of government colleges, TPAFC list, TNPA datasheet in English as well as local language.

Applicants can also access a demonstration video to better understand how to complete the application form.

About TN Poly Admission

Tamil Nadu Government Polytechnic College Admission 2021 (TNGPTC-2021) is a comprehensive online process. It includes enrollment, application filling, choice of college choice, and payment process.

Payment of fees

The registration payment process begins with the registration fee. The candidate must pay through the Internet payment gateway using a Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking. The registration fees set by the government of Tamil Nadu are as follows:

1. Registration fee for general applicants Rs. 150 / –
2. No registration fee for SC / SCA / ST applicants.

“After payment is made, the payment receipt will be sent to the registered mail id,” DoTE said.

After payment of the fee, the candidate can now download the submitted form. Download and print for future reference.

Applicants should note that Admission to TN diploma hasn’t started yet. According to the latest update, university admission in Tamil Nadu will start after July 31, when the 12th class result will be declared.
