Barca offer midfielder swap with Juventus
Barcelona and Juventus are said to be in talks over a direct trade between Miralem Pjanic and Aaron Ramsey, per Gazzetta dello Sport.
Pjanic has struggled to solidify his place in Ronald Koeman’s squad and has spent much of his first season at the club warming up the benches and is seen as not part of Koeman’s Barcelona project. The Bosnian international, called up by Barcelona, has had no impact for his team. He was no longer the player Barcelona expected when they got him a year ago from Juventus in exchange for Arthur Melo.
Honrar la camiseta.
Respetar el equipo.
Darlo todo dentro will flee from the cancha.
Esto es lo que merece @FCBarcelona_es esto es lo que hecho con mi compañeros desde el primer día.

Aaron Ramsey, who is the same age as Miralem Pjanic (31), finds himself in a position similar to that of Barcelona. He also struggled to break into the Bianconeri’s starting XI. The Welshman and former Arsenal player has struggled to fit into the Juventus system and has also been injured and unfit for most of his career at Juventus. It will be interesting to see if he can stay fit for Barcelona.

Juventus are currently looking for reinforcements in the midfield as CM Arthur Melo is expected to be out for at least 2 months following knee surgery. Pjanic also wants to reunite with the old lady as Max Allegri has been rehired by Juventus after an abysmal season with Andrea Pirlo. In 135 applications under Allegri, Pjanic scored 19 goals and distributed 33 assists, and was a vital part of the Juventus squad which lost to Real Madrid in the 2017 Champions League final. The Bianconeri hope to be able to recreate this magic with Miralem Pjanic if this exchange agreement comes to fruition.
