Barcelona will continue their raid on Manchester City as they try to sign Aymeric Laporte, Ilkay Gundogan and Gabriel Jesus, according to reports.

The La Liga giants have already agreed to sign former City teammates Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia on free transfers.

Both players will leave the Premier League champions when their contracts expire at the end of the month.

Aguero will leave City after becoming the club’s all-time top scorer in a remarkable 10-year span.

The Argentine struck 260 times and scored a last-minute goal against Queens Park Rangers to win the club their first Premier League title in 2012.

Laporte often found himself behind John Stones and Ruben Dias in Guardiola’s defensive plans. Roberto had a similar problem with Barca, only having 15 La Liga appearances last season.

Meanwhile, a second report from the same exit suggests midfielder Gundogan and striker Jesus could also leave City and join Barca.

Gundogan had the most prolific season of his career, scoring 17 goals as City won the Premier League with 12 points.

However, Jesus fell out of favor at the Etihad stage. Guardiola has often chosen to play without a striker instead of the Brazilian in their bigger games.

Jesus failed to start any of the club’s Champions League games from the quarter-finals. He only played eight minutes in the 1-0 final loss to Chelsea.

Guardiola could choose to sell the trio to fund an expensive summer window.

The Spaniard has repeatedly hinted that cash transfers may be limited due to the financial implications caused by the pandemic.

Tottenham forward Harry Kane and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, both of whom will play for England at Euro 2020, are said to be targets.
