Rumors today start with news that Barcelona could be on the verge of rekindling interest in former defender Alex Grimaldo to offer competition and potentially replace Jordi Alba.
Apparently Ronald Koeman and his coaching staff are big admirers of Grimaldo, but know a deal will be difficult to strike, according to Diario AS.
Grimaldo has two more years to go on his contract at Benfica but is reportedly available for around € 20m.
