Castillo and Henry set for NCAA rifle championships

MEMPHIS, TN – University of Memphis Rifle second year Kaylene Castillo and junior Angeline Henry will travel to USAFA, Colorado to compete in the 2022 NCAA Rifle Championships. The two-day event begins Friday, March 11 with the small-bore competition and concludes Saturday, March 12 with the air rifle.
Castillo qualified individually for the small bore championship, while Henry earned a spot in the air rifle competition. The action begins at 1:00 p.m. CT on Friday and 12:15 p.m. CT on Saturday, with live targets and live video available at GoTigersGo.com.
During the season, Henry led the Tigers with averages of 577.583 in the small bore, 591.667 in the air rifle and 1,169.250 overall. Castillo posted averages of 571.917 in small bore, 587.25 in air rifle and 1159.167 overall on the year.
