Chelsea transfer news: Jorginho swap, Jules Kounde green light and Jonathan David fee

Transfer rumors surrounding players linked to and away from Chelsea continue to heat up with the summer window now just months away.
Thomas Tuchel will be on the lookout for a number of top players as he looks to make his mark on Chelsea’s roster, after the Blues fell behind Manchester City and Liverpool in the title race. Premier League.
Chelsea are set to lose a number of players who will become free agents, while having a considerable number of squad players who are apparently not in the German manager’s plans.
A number of top players appear to have fallen down the pecking order under Tuchel and could be sold off to generate a hefty transfer fee, which could be used to replace said players.
One of them could be Italy’s Euro 2020 winner Jorginho.
The Italian has played a lesser role this season with Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante favored by the German. With the return of Conor Gallagher, as well as a number of potential signings, the 30-year-old could move on.
One team apparently interested is Juventus, who are ready to offer French midfielder Adrien Rabiot some cash for his services, according to TuttoJuve.
Rabiot has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the past and has played at a higher level in recent weeks for Juve.
Elsewhere, TuttoJuve have also reported that Chelsea are in an “ideal position” to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, after Juventus inquired about his potential signing.
Chelsea came close to signing the French centre-back last season, before a move materialized towards the end of the window.
The 23-year-old is said to be in desperate need of a move to Chelsea as a likely replacement for Antonio Rudiger.
