Craig and Bruno from Strictly to swap dance floor for driving seat with new ITV show
Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli will swap the dance floor for the driving seat as they explore some of the UK’s best road trips in a new ITV series.
The stars of Strictly Come Dancing will embark on an adventure around Britain in a new six-part show, taking on six of Britain’s best rides, in locations from Cornwall to the Cotswolds.
Revel Horwood from Australia and Tonioli from Italy are both avid car enthusiasts and will immerse themselves in another part of Britain on scenic drives including the meanders of the Cheddar Gorge, the mountain roads of Scotland Highlands and the waters of the Lake District.
Revel Horwood said: “Bruno and I are delighted to take viewers on this summer adventure with us. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel and indulge in history, culture and of course killer playlists.
Tonioli added: “It will be a British trip like no other, buckle up and hold everyone tight. It’s time to have some fun.
The show bears the working title of Bruno and Craig’s Great British Road Trip.
Executive Producer Fiona Inskip said: “We are delighted to be getting behind the wheel with Craig and Bruno; as true friends away from the dance floor, the series gives viewers the opportunity to see the pair behind their Saturday night characters.
“And, at a time when many of us will enjoy a summer vacation, it is a pleasure to join them as they take on the country’s most spectacular journeys and experience the incredible adventures along the way. that we can all experience on our own, in a series that celebrates the best that Britain has to offer.
“But, as you might expect, there is a lot of arguing, a lot of laughter and strange surprises along the way – the audience will be in for a treat.”
