Expert opinion: will Kingsley Coman swap Bayern Munich for the Premier League?
Kingsley Coman’s desire to play in the Premier League is a factor in his reluctance to sign a new deal with Bayern Munich, according to reports.
Coman’s current contract expires in the summer of 2023, so Bayern Munich could face a tough decision on whether to let the Frenchman terminate his current contract, like David Alaba, or allow him to leave then. that he can still order a fee.

“The point is, Bayern don’t want the story to end like it did with Alaba leaving free of transfer fees,” said Victoria Kunzmann of Eurosport Deutschland. “Uli Hoeneß recently told Magenta Sport that Bayern will not change his principles. They want him to stay, but will stand firm if his demands are too high.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move by Coman, the Old Trafford club reportedly viewed the Frenchman as an alternative to Jadon Sancho as he sought a new winger.

If forced to sell Bayern Munich would want costs of around € 80million for Coman, but would it be worth that kind of money? “He’s a fantastic player, but he has a pretty high injury risk,” Kunzmann said. “He played a solid season and helped [Robert] Lewandowski breaks the Bundesliga goalscoring record with his assists (12).
It is not entirely clear whether or not Coman is using Premier League interest to strengthen his hands in contract talks with Bayern Munich, but it is a situation to watch.
“It’s hard to analyze if Coman really wants to leave or if he just wants to play poker a bit,” Kunzmann adds.
