Hello Fresh says onions in meal kits may be contaminated with salmonella

Hello fresh urges customers to throw away onions they received in meal kits as they could be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria.
In a announcement with the United States Food and Drug Administration, Hello Fresh said the onions were received from a supplier who recalls all of their onions.
The onions were reportedly received from Hello Fresh from May 8 to July 31.
According to Hello Fresh, the product details for Hello Fresh and its EveryPlate branded meals are:

Hello Fresh also advises customers to disinfect any surfaces or containers that may have come into contact with the onions.
“In case the onions have been eaten, please note that cooking the product completely at 165ºF / 74ºC, as stated in the recipe, will kill the salmonella bacteria,” Hello Fresh said.
