Karl Stefanovic Asks Couples Of Identical Twins If They ‘Accidentally Swap Partners’ In Today’s Interview

Today host Karl Stefanovic burst out laughing after asking an incredibly embarrassing question of his guests during Wednesday morning’s live show.
The presenter was joined by American twin sisters Brittany and Briana Deane, 34, who are married to identical twins Josh and Jeremy Salyers, 36, and live in the same house together – both couples having welcomed babies last year last.
With a smile on his face, Karl, 47, couldn’t help but ask, “It’s late Friday night, you’ve had a few Margaritas…have you ever accidentally mixed up?”

“Are we confused? Maybe just aside…’ Briana said after an awkward silence.
Karl then burst into hysterical laughter as he sat next to his co-host Allison Langdon, who couldn’t help but giggle alongside him.
“I even saw myself in the mirror when I was very, very tired when they were newborns, and I mistook Briana for myself, so…” Brittany laughed.

“It’s hard to explain if you accidentally kiss your sister’s husband!” Allison chimed in, to which Karl replied, “No, it’s not.” He’s just a brother. We do not care? They do it all the time at Tazzy!
Brittany and Briana met Josh and Jeremy at a twin festival in 2017 and, following a whirlwind romance, the men both proposed six months later.
They got a lot of attention for their unique story, especially after the men popped the question to the women at the same time with identical custom rings from Jerrick’s Fine Jewelry, which each had double infinity symbols covered in diamonds.
There were plenty of other twins at their wedding, with 17 in total, including them.
The event was later aired on a TLC special titled Our Twinsane Wedding in February 2019.

Before meeting the sisters, Jeremy said he and his twin brother Josh made a vow to marry just one more set of twins.
Josh and I always knew we had to find our twins if we were to get married – and we figured we could never do that unless we found a set of twins we could fall in love with and get married,’ says Jeremiah .
“We were lucky to find them, we couldn’t be happier.”
