Memphis heads to Mississippi for Mossy Oak Collegiate
MEMPHIS, TN – The University of Memphis men’s golf team will travel to Wet Point, Mississippi to compete at Mossy Oak Collegiate this week. The two-day tournament starts on Monday April 11 and ends on Tuesday April 12. Live scores from the event are available at GoTigersGo.com.
The 54-hole event will be played at the par 72, 7,212-yard Mossy Oak Golf Club. Teams will play 36 holes Monday beginning with an 8 a.m. tee shot. The third and final round will begin on Tuesday with start times between 8 a.m. and 10:24 a.m.
The 19-team field includes Memphis, host Mississippi State, No. 19 Ole Miss, No. 28 LSU, No. 3 Vanderbilt, No. 16 Auburn, No. 18 Florida State, Michigan, Kansas State, Arkansas State , No. 47 UAB, Middle Tennessee State, Chattanooga, Louisiana, ULM, Louisiana Tech, Lipscomb, Southern Miss, and South Alabama.
The last time, Tyrant Snyders led the Tigers to the Mason Rudolph Championship, tied for 19and place with a score of 211 (-2). Snyders, who has six top-20 finishes in the team’s seven tournaments this season, is ranked No. 92 individually in the nation by GolfStat.com.
