Neville responds, asked if he would trade Martial for Tottenham star Hojbjerg

Gary Neville responded when asked if he would trade Manchester United ace Anthony Martial for Tottenham general Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The latter struggled to cope with the combinations of Thomas Partey, Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith-Rowe and Granit Xhaka on Sunday.
Spurs were easily beaten in the Emirates by a resurgent Arsenal side with the middle of the park being a problem for Spurs. Hojbjerg was well below par.
Meanwhile, Neville’s former side Manchester United have struggled as well. Losing 1-0 to Villa, Martial remained an unused replacement against the Midlands side.
The Frenchman continues to be linked with a move and there are many reports that Spurs are excited – according to the Star. Eurosport says he is valued at £ 40million.

When asked if he would trade Martial for Hojbjerg – United need a midfielder and Spurs love Martial – Neville had his say on Twitter.
Neville on Martial and Hojbjerg: Tottenham can do better
While Spurs need offensive cover for Harry Kane and United need an anchoring midfielder, this decision would hardly suit Daniel Levy’s Spurs.
The Spurs supremo will be interested in forwards, as well as Fabio Paratici, as a long-term replacement for exit-linked Harry Kane in the near future.
Kane stayed over the summer, but is likely to go in the next two windows. Martial has been linked, but he’s barely at the top of his game.
Jonathan Woodgate recently said Solskjaer would “pull his hair out” at Martial’s inconsistency and body language.
Despite his NLD display, the 26-year-old Hojbjerg is key to Spurs. So trading an out of form striker for a crucial part of Tottenham’s core isn’t a good deal.
