Veres Paces Tigers at Pinetree Women’s Collegiate

KENNESAW, Georgia – The University of Memphis women’s golf team wrapped up the game at Pinetree Women’s Collegiate on Tuesday at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Georgia.
The Tigers shot a final round 315 (+27) to tie for 10and place with Northern Illinois with a 54-hole total of 931 (+67). Host Kennesaw State won the tournament with a score of 893 (+29).
KEY MOMENTS
• Youth Brooke Veres led the Tiger charge at Pinetree Women’s Collegiate, placing 24and in total with a score of 230 (+14).
• Veres was consistent throughout the tournament, going 78-74-78.
• Speaking of consistency, freshman Katie Stinchcomb carded three rounds of 77 (+5) to tie for 25and place with a score of 231 (+15).
• Fifth year Julia Matzat shot rounds of 79-78-80 to tie for 44and place with a total of 237 (+21).
• The two second-year students Rebecca Brink and junior victoria england tied 54and place with scores of 243 (+27).
